Mountain View waltzed into their game on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds. For the Mountain Lions, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Firebirds walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Mountain View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-11, 25-15, 25-20.

Gabe Victor paced Mountain View's offense, picking up 13 kills. Victor got some help from Jose Rodriguez Rios and his 21 assists. Caleb Escalle controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mountain View now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Windsor Charter Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Mountain View will challenge Greeley Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Windsor Charter Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Eagle Ridge Academy on the 3rd.
