Soccer Recap: Seaside Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Everett Alvarez, Seaside was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Monterey Dores. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dores, too.

Seaside's one-goal win came courtesy of Sebastian Perez Ceron, who's now up to two this season.

Seaside moved to 3-5-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Monterey, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1-1.

Seaside has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Greenfield on the 10th. As for Monterey, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Alisal on the 10th.
