Football Game Preview: Lake Arthur Tigers vs. Welsh Greyhounds + Official Tickets

Lake Arthur hasn't had much luck against Welsh recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will face off against the Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lake Arthur made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lafayette Christian Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Knights are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, Welsh ended up a good deal behind Notre Dame on Thursday and lost 34-20. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Welsh's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lake Arthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Lake Arthur was dealt a bruising 59-20 loss at the hands of Welsh in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
