The Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators will head out on the road to take on the Chelsea Academy Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Greenbrier Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Timberlake Christian 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Gators have posted since September 14, 2024.

Greenbrier Christian Academy took Timberlake Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 20-25, 20-25, 15-11.

Chelsea Academy extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Malta Klassen. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Grove Christian School on Tuesday with plenty of help from Klassen, who had four digs and four aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 19 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Chelsea Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-10, 25-16.

Greenbrier Christian Academy's record now sits at 21-10-1. As for Chelsea Academy, their record is now 15-6.

Greenbrier Christian Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Chelsea Academy in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Gators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
