Basketball Recap: Dodgeville Takes a Loss

Dodgeville lost against River Valley back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dodgeville Dodgers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the River Valley Blackhawks. The Dodgers just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Dodgeville's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for River Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dodgeville has already played their next game (against Wisconsin Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. River Valley will be playing at home against Pecatonica/Argyle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (River Valley has won three straight at home, while Pecatonica/Argyle won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
