Basketball Recap: Crownpoint Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Crownpoint kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Bloomfield Bobcats 67-40. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Bloomfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elijah Cooks, who posted seven points along with six rebounds and five steals. Paxton Morris was another key player, going 6-for-9 en route to 13 points and three steals.

Looking ahead, Crownpoint will face off against Native American Community Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bloomfield, they will square off against Piedra Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
