Arbor View extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Alexxa Chan. The Aggies skirted past the Faith Lutheran Crusaders 3-2 for which the team can thank Chan, who had 14 digs and five aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.

Arbor View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 21-25, 25-14, 26-24, 15-6.

Defeat or not, Faith Lutheran got some senior leadership from K Sawyer and Mariah Mauga. Sawyer had 26 assists and 13 digs, while Mauga had 16 assists and 14 digs. Chloe Garcia also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Arbor View's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Faith Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13.

Arbor View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Boulder City on the 10th. As for Faith Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Brawley on the 10th.
