Elgin entered their tilt with Edmond North on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Huskies 11-2. Considering the Owls have won 19 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Grady Thomas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had over his last four matchups. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Tres Lorah was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ritson Meyer, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Elgin's victory bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Edmond North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Elgin will venture away from home to take on Choctaw at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edmond North, they will host Charles Page at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
