Football Recap: Westgate Comes Up Short

Westgate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 28-15 to the Teurlings Catholic Rebels. The Tigers were down 21-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Westgate's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Teurlings Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Westgate will take on rival St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Teurlings Catholic is set to square off against their familiar foe Comeaux at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
