Volleyball Recap: Wallace Comes Up Short

Wallace was the 3-1 winner over Genesee when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Miners fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18.

Megan Hull paced Wallace's offense, picking up four kills. Hull got some help from Aubrey Birdsell and her four assists. Hull was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Wallace's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Genesee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wallace and Genesee will both be playing Kamiah the next time they take the court. The Miners will head out to face the Kubs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 3:20 p.m.
