Soccer Game Preview: East Central HomeSchool vs. Trinity Christian

The East Central HomeSchool Patriots will head out to square off against the Trinity Christian Eagles at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. East Central HomeSchool has given up an average of 4.5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Thursday just wasn't the day for East Central HomeSchool's offense. They came up short against Fort Dale Academy on Thursday, falling 6-0. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three last Friday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Cougars.

Trinity Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for East Central HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1.

East Central HomeSchool suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Trinity Christian when the teams last played back in February. Can East Central HomeSchool avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
