Baseball Recap: Marengo Comes Up Short

Marengo fell victim to Fairhope and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 7-0.

Marengo dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fairhope, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Marengo will head out to challenge Rogers at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Fairhope, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richmond-Burton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
