Football Game Preview: Sandusky Blue Streaks vs. Norwalk Truckers

The Sandusky Blue Streaks will head out on the road to challenge the Norwalk Truckers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sandusky is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Sandusky managed to slip by Clyde the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Streaks took a blow against the Fliers on Friday, falling 40-7.

Meanwhile, Norwalk was beaten by Perkins 48-3 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Truckers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while the Pirates are ranked 125th).

Sandusky's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Norwalk, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Sandusky against Norwalk in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Streaks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
