After flying high against Neuse Charter on Monday, Roxboro Community came back down to earth. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Research Triangle Raptors on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Roxboro Community started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-20.

Kat Liquorie went supernova For Research Triangle., getting 24 digs and two assists.

Roxboro Community's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 10-3. As for Research Triangle, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.
