Preview: Lake Hamilton Wolves vs. El Dorado Wildcats
Lake Hamilton has enjoyed a six-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the El Dorado Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lake Hamilton is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Dorado in Arkansas (Lake Hamilton is ranked 33rd, while El Dorado is ranked 180th).
Last Friday, Lake Hamilton was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to Benton. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lake Hamilton in their matchups with Benton: they've now lost three in a row.
El Dorado suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Lakeside by a score of 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat El Dorado has suffered against Lakeside since January 29, 2019.
Lake Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for El Dorado, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
Lake Hamilton came up short against El Dorado in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 63-56. Can Lake Hamilton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
