Baseball Recap: Santa Teresa Victorious

Santa Teresa lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Bowie, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors never let the Bowie Bears get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Tuesday. This was payback for the Desert Warriors, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Jackson Simpson was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Gavin Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Santa Teresa always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .722. The last time their OBP was this high was since the start of last season.
