The offers starting to come for one of nation's most underrated playmakers.

De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) is one of the most prestigious high school football programs of all-time. They have produced some big-time players – Amani Toomer, Maurice Jones-Drew, D.J. Williams, Austin Hooper, T.J. Ward, Devin Asiasi, Boss Tagaloa and Henry To'oto'o just to name a few.

The next great one could very well be Shamar Garrett.

He's one of the most underrated players in the country. During his junior season he rushed for nearly 1,500 yards to go with 16 touchdowns while leading De La Salle to a Top 10 finish in 2018. He also was also one of the best defensive backs in California, picking off six passes and taking three back for scores.

Garrett has landed three FBS offers so far and any college coach that watches his film will quickly notice he does it on both sides of the ball at a high level. He has break away speed, excellent vision, great instincts, and is a flat-out playmaker when he gets his hands on the ball.
