Softball Recap: Sonora Takes a Loss

Sonora lost against Orestimba on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Warriors, falling 13-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sonora's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Orestimba, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sonora will host Hughson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Orestimba, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Hilmar at 4:00 p.m.
