Weber's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Layton Lancers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Sophie Sparrow paced Weber's offense, picking up 20 kills. Sparrow got some help from Scarlett Smith and her 27 assists. Bradey Schiffman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Despite the loss, Layton still got an impressive performance from Suzanne Hill, who had seven digs and seven aces.
Weber has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Layton, they dropped their record down to 8-18 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Weber does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Layton, after both having extra time off, they and Farmington will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
