Volleyball Recap: Indy Genesis HomeSchool Gets the Win

Indy Genesis HomeSchool lost to Tournament Opponent last Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Indy Genesis came out on top against Tournament Opponent by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indy Genesis.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Indy Genesis HomeSchool was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-10.

Indy Genesis HomeSchool can attribute much of their success to Elena Richards, who had eight aces. Those eight aces gave Richards a new career-high. Ella Giganti also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Indy Genesis HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Indy Genesis HomeSchool has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against HEA Firebirds HomeSchool on the 23rd. Hopefully Tournament Opponent paid attention to Indy Genesis HomeSchool's game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Indy Genesis HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
