Football Recap: Master's Academy Comes Up Short

Master's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 27-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cocoa Beach Minutemen.

Although Master's Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Jeremiah Pattillo, Kaidin Seelbach, and Banks Swearingen.

Cocoa Beach got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Remy Vigne out in front who threw for 100 yards and three TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Vigne has posted since back in September of 2024. Ryan Rogers helped Vigne out on the ground, rushing for 80 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Master's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cocoa Beach, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Master's Academy will take on Zephyrhills Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cocoa Beach, they will challenge Palm Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
