Anthony Carmean leads Wooster to victory over Madison Comprehensive

Recap: Wooster Generals vs. Madison Comprehensive Rams
The Wooster Generals came into Friday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Madison Comprehensive 44-41. The victory was just what Wooster needed coming off of a 68-42 defeat in their prior contest.
Anthony Carmean was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 16 points along with five rebounds. Aidan Holford was another key contributor, scoring two points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Wooster's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Madison Comprehensive, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-18.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wooster will take on Copley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Wooster focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday. As for Madison Comprehensive, they will be playing at home against Mansfield Senior at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Mansfield Seniorpresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Madison Comprehensive in Ohio (Mansfield Senior is ranked 106th, while Madison Comprehensive is ranked 627th).
