Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Skates Past Temple Christian with Ease

Heritage Christian Academy hadn't done well against Temple Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Heritage Christian Academy Lions blew past the Temple Christian Watchmen, posting a 52-4 win. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Heritage Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Addelynn Reid out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Reid has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 17 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kara Day, who posted ten points and five steals.

Heritage Christian Academy's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. As for Temple Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
