Maya Nichols leads Canyon View to victory over North Sanpete

Recap: Canyon View Falcons vs. North Sanpete Hawks
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Richfield, the Canyon View Falcons were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against North Sanpete by a score of 46-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Canyon View also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Maya Nichols, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Davie, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
The win got Canyon View back to even at 9-9. As for North Sanpete, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canyon View will take on Manti at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Manti is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for North Sanpete, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Juab at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Juab focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
