Baseball Game Preview: Belmont Bison vs. Northridge Polar Bears

The Belmont Bison are taking a road trip to take on the Northridge Polar Bears at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Belmont will be strutting in after a victory while Northridge will be coming in after a loss.

Belmont will bounce into Saturday's game after beating Trotwood-Madison, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Bison came out on top against the Rams by a score of 12-7 on Tuesday.

Carter Blankenship was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Blankenship, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Northridge's offense. They lost 11-0 to Bethel on Thursday. The Polar Bears haven't had much luck with the Bees recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
