Softball Recap: Tamalpais Has No Trouble Against Terra Linda

Tamalpais made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Terra Linda, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Tamalpais blew past Terra Linda 13-4 on Friday. The Red Tailed Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Tamalpais and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Terra Linda, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tamalpais is set to face off against their familiar foe Marin Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Tamalpais 1.5, Marin Catholic 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Terra Linda will take on rival San Rafael at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
