Volleyball Game Preview: Riverside Warriors vs. Chapmanville Regional Tigers

The Riverside Warriors will square off against the Chapmanville Regional Tigers at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Riverside came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Sherman, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered against the Tide since October 19, 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Chapmanville Regional had to endure a six-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Logan by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Riverside's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Chapmanville Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.

Riverside was able to grind out a solid win over Chapmanville Regional in their previous meeting last Tuesday, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
