Baseball Recap: Rivercrest Takes a Loss

Rivercrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Grant Community Bulldogs, falling 12-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Colts were not able to get on the board.

Rivercrest's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Grant Community, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Rivercrest will head out on the road to challenge Harrisburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grant Community, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ventura at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ventura's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Grant Community's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
