After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chattooga, Mt. Zion was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Baconton Charter Blazers 34-0 on the road.

Mt. Zion's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xavier Buckner, who picked up 163 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Buckner's longest reception was for an incredible 74 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Knox Israel, who threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes.

Mt. Zion's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Corey Hutter.
