Softball Recap: Lincoln County Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Lincoln County's offense. They came up short against the Bonners Ferry Badgers on Saturday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. Bonners Ferry has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thompson Falls at 3:00 p.m. on April 15. As for Bonners Ferry, they will take on Troy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
