Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Preparatory Comes Up Short

Lakeland Preparatory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Collierville Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-9.

Tess Terpstra paced Lakeland Preparatory's offense, picking up four kills. Terpstra got some help from Emma Morgan and her seven assists. Madelynn Chauffe controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lakeland Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Collierville, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season.

Lakeland Preparatory didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Haywood on the 25th. As for Collierville, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Arlington on the 23rd.
