Solorio is a perfect 4-0 against Little Village since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Sun Warriors will square off against the Phoenix at 5:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Little Village will be up against a hot Solorio team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Sun Warriors came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Kennedy.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Solorio who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Little Village had just enough and edged out Curie 2-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Phoenix.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Little Village got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 19-25, 25-19.

The win got Solorio back to even at 7-7-4. As for Little Village, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Solorio was able to grind out a solid win over Little Village when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sun Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
