Softball Recap: East Boston Comes Up Short

East Boston lost against Fontbonne Academy two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Jets lost 15-3 to the Ducks.

Devani Taylor was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

East Boston has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Fontbonne Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, East Boston will look to defend their home field on the 24th against Boston English at 3:30 p.m. As for Fontbonne Academy, they will head out to square off against Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
