Basketball Recap: Mt. Shasta Takes a Loss

Mt. Shasta lost against Weed back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mt. Shasta Bears took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weed Cougars.

Mt. Shasta now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Weed, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Shasta and Anderson will meet on Thursday for a tough Bear Battle. As for Weed, they will square off against Fall River at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Weed is facing Fall River at the right time seeing as Fall River is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
