Galena entered their tilt with Columbus on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Titans. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on Saturday.

Weslynn Russell paced Galena's offense, picking up nine kills. Russell got some help from Rylie Myer and her 12 assists. Russell also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Dakota Bennett, racking up two apiece.

Galena's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Columbus, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Galena beat the Titans by a score of 2-0 later that day.
