Basketball Recap: Esko Comes Up Short

Esko lost against Cannon Falls back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Esko Eskomos fell 81-69 to the Cannon Falls Bombers.

Esko's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Cannon Falls, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Esko and Cannon Falls should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Esko (ranked 39th) will meet Crosby-Ironton (ranked 327th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Cannon Falls will take on Lake City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday up 66 places (31 vs. 97).
