Soccer Game Preview: Spring Creek vs. North Tahoe

If Spring Creek beats North Tahoe with three goals on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Spartans had just enough and edged out West Wendover 3-2 on Friday.

Spring Creek hit the Wolverines with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cooper McGinnis, Lucas Ward, and Hunter Heieie.

Meanwhile, North Tahoe faced Encina in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Friday. The Lakers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0.

North Tahoe dropped their record down to 10-6-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Spring Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.
