Baseball Recap: Concord Academy Takes a Loss

Concord Academy entered their game against Beaver Country Day on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Concord Academy fell just short of Beaver Country Day by a score of 9-7. Concord Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Beaver Country Day apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Tairou Komyerov was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

Concord Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Beaver Country Day, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4.
