Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy won the last time they faced Au Gres-Sims and things went their way on Friday too. The Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons blew past the Au Gres-Sims Wolverines 50-26. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 24 points or more this season.

Au Gres-Sims' loss came despite strong showings from Sophie Fox and Analeis Ming. Fox dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, while Ming posted three points in addition to seven steals and five assists. Ming is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Ariel Johnson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.3 points per game. As for Au Gres-Sims, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy and Au Gres-Sims should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy will challenge Calvary Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 257 places (249 vs. 506). Meanwhile, Au Gres-Sims (ranked 315th) will meet Fairview (ranked 646th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
