Volleyball Recap: Chloe Burns and Sarina Wisniewski Secure Win for Dexter

Dexter won the last time they faced Chelsea and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dreadnaughts put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory.

While Dexter won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-17.

Leading Dexter to victory were Sarina Wisniewski and Chloe Burns. Wisniewski had four digs and four aces, while Burns hit 50% for five kills and eight digs and three aces. That's the most digs Wisniewski has posted over her last three matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Dexter was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chelsea only served six.

Dexter's record is now 33-5-2. As for Chelsea, they moved to 27-9-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Dexter has already played their next matchup (against Huron), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chelsea, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Tecumseh on the 25th.
