Lake Brantley and Lake Mary are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Lake Brantley Patriots will welcome the Lake Mary Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lake Brantley has four straight victories, Lake Mary has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Lake Brantley's win against Lake Howell wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Lake Brantley never let Lake Howell get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Patriots have posted against the Silverhawks since April 12, 2022.

Not much got past Elijah Guzman, who gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Lake Howell off the board. That's the fewest hits Guzman has allowed since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Lake Brantley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Menfis Colon-Viera, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lake Mary didn't have quite enough to beat Winter Springs on Friday and fell 4-2. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lake Brantley's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Lake Mary, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
