Madison waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Chelsea Bulldogs. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Lilly Pharion paced Madison's offense, picking up 13 kills. Pharion got some help from Ja'Kara Rincon and her 23 assists. Pharion also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kianna McKinney, each putting up two.

Madison's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Chelsea, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 19-7-1 record.

Madison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Ida on the 23rd. As for Chelsea, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Monroe on the 23rd.
