Volleyball Recap: Cherryville Victorious + How To Watch

Cherryville won the last time they faced North Gaston and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Ironmen came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ironmen.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 19-25, 25-11, 25-22.

Kate Bookout was the offensive standout of the match as she had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Bookout wasn't the only good servers: Cherryville was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. The Ironmen are 11-4 when they serve at least ten aces.

Cherryville's record now sits at 13-8. As for North Gaston, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.

Coming up, Cherryville will challenge Bessemer City at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Gaston, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Forestview at 6:00 p.m.
