Northeast came tearing into Friday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Arundel Wildcats by a score of 8-5. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Presley McGinty was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Northeast let Brynn Jones and Taylor Castle run wild. Jones went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Castle went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Carleigh Canada, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Northeast pushed their record up to 19-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Arundel, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

As of now, neither Northeast nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
