Soccer Recap: Grand Junction Central Comes Up Short

Grand Junction Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers. Grand Junction Central were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Montezuma-Cortez apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2016.

Grand Junction Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Montezuma-Cortez, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1-3.

Grand Junction Central wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Durango on the 1st. As for Montezuma-Cortez, they will face off against Roaring Fork on Thursday.
