Basketball Recap: Coachella Valley Beats Twentynine Palms for Their Third Straight Victory

Coachella Valley extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Franky Aguirre. The Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 81-47 win over the Twentynine Palms Wildcats thanks in part to Aguirre, who almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Israel Garcia, who posted 19 points and four steals. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Coachella Valley's record now sits at 14-6. As for Twentynine Palms, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-18.

Coachella Valley will take on Yucca Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coachella Valley is facing Yucca Valley at the right time seeing as Yucca Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Twentynine Palms has already played their next game (against Indio), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
