Volleyball Recap: St. Louis Comes Up Short

St. Louis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Punahou Buff n' Blue. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

While St. Louis was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Punahou's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-18, 27-25.

St. Louis' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Punahou, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, St. Louis is headed away from home for the first time to take on Mid-Pacific Institute at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Punahou, they will host Kamehameha Kapalama at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
