Lowell entered their tilt with Toledo on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 54-18 win over the Boomers. The Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Boomers, too.

Evan Putnam and Deshawn Pfaffle certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Putnam threw for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Pfaffle picked up 82 receiving yards.

Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Toledo, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
