There's no place like home for Harker Heights, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Pflugerville Panthers with a sharp 9-2 win on Tuesday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Leila Osuna, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-1. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was A'Nasia Williams, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Harker Heights hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in four consecutive matches.

Harker Heights' victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Pflugerville, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Harker Heights will take on Legacy Ranch at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Pflugerville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers take on the Tigers at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
