Softball Game Preview: Seton Catholic Sentinels vs. Gilbert Christian Knights

The Seton Catholic Sentinels will venture away from home to challenge the Gilbert Christian Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Seton Catholic's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Valley Christian hitters got past them. The Sentinels lost 16-1 to the Trojans on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Sentinels have suffered since March 4th.

Meanwhile, Gilbert Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Northwest Christian, falling 15-0. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Seton Catholic moved to 12-4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Gilbert Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
